UNIBET BECOMES THE OFFICIAL PARTNER OF PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

The combined betting and casino site Unibet have launched a multi-year partnership with the NFL-team Philadelphia Eagles. Unibet will thus become the official partner of the team. This will be the first time that the Philadelphia Eagles has an online casino as a sponsor.

Promotion  

One part of the agreement is that Unibet will be given a permanent place to promote its brand. The place they’ve selected is at the team’s home stadium Lincoln Financial Fields and their newly designed suites. Unibet will also appear on the digital billboard, also called “Eagles Nest Tower”. Unibet will also be allowed to promote themselves on PhilidelphiaEagles.com, the team’s social media as well as in the team’s publications. The agreement applies to the casino part of Unibet. They are therefore not allowed to market their betting.

Arnas Janickas is head of Unibet’s marketing in America. He says the Philadelphia Eagles were a logical choice: “As we look to grow our footprint in the USA, it only made sense to partner with one of the largest, most respected and loved teams in NFL. The Eagles unmatched fan engagement and relentless innovation in digital space definitely helped to make this partnership a reality.”

Catherine Carlson, the senior vice president of revenue and strategy at the Philadelphia Eagles, says this about the collaboration: “We are proud to align ourselves with a company that is fully dedicated to innovation, the customer experience, and responsible gaming.”

Unibet in Pennsylvania and other states

Mohegan Sun Pocono has become Unibet’s new partner in Pennsylvania and will help them provide the state with their games. In the neighboring state of New Jersey, Unibet has been available since June and within a few weeks it will be available in Pennsylvania as well.
